h.mind is a creative institution. We research ideas for the futures that could be, the ones still forming at the edges of design, technology and culture. Some begin as questions, some as experiments. Our work is to follow each idea with care, give it a form, and find out where it leads.
h.mind has no fixed address. Founded virtually in 2026 by Roma Luo and Xavier Yang, the studio moves with its people and its projects, setting down wherever the next idea needs it.

Sees technology as a cultural medium rather than a utility. Roma asks what it means to live alongside machines that remember, respond and grow, and gives that question a form people can experience.
A practice spanning AI, architecture and art. Previously AI & Creative Researcher at sub.global, Berlin, and designer at junya.ishigami+associates, Tokyo.
Emerging Artist 2026, Australia. Harvard David Martin Leadership Fellow and Merit Scholarship recipient. Lemon Grasui Award, Tokyo.
Believes meaningful AI has to be grounded in space and time. Xavier builds toward machines that understand the environments they inhabit, bringing an architect’s sense of space to how intelligence is made.
Previously developed parametric building systems and automation tools at Tesla, and generative AI design workflows at Transcalarity Studio.
PhD researcher in spatial intelligence, machine learning and world models, with a long-term interest in multimodal generation, memory and how intelligent agents evolve.
